Chastleton

In the Chastleton Project, we focused mainly on doing a deep interior renovation, in which we changed the ochre tones, wood, and vintage style for a modern, contemporary design that offers a feeling of spaciousness in all rooms.

To make it possible, we renovated all the walls, floors, and window frames, and at the same time, we took out old and spacious furniture and replaced it with new, fully functional, practical, and custom-made furniture.

We also knocked down some walls to make better use of the spaces and kept some beautiful design features, renewing their style and manufacturing materials. This was the case in the living room, which has a beautiful fireplace that we covered with decorative stones.

In Chastleton, the Avatar Contractors team focused all their efforts on giving the homeowners a beautiful and functional finish that they would feel very comfortable with. For this reason, we had to completely renovate all the spaces and these are some of the main features of that project:

• Change all the old floors to wood or tile flooring depending on the space.
• Renovation of stair boards for better support in all cases.
• Demolition of dividing walls into the kitchen and living room spaces.
• Replacement of doors, walls, and window frames.
• Installation of custom-made furniture in the kitchen including trending cabinets and countertops.
• Installation of contemporary light fixtures and lighting.
• Optimization of electrical and plumbing installations in the kitchen.
• Removal of old furniture and cleaning of spaces.
• Painting of all interior walls and ceilings.

One of the changes that made the most difference in this project was the removal of the old floors to install wood floors that varied in each case. In every room, we incorporated a design and matched the flooring to that design.

For example, in the living rooms and bedrooms, we incorporated oak flooring, while in the kitchen we installed walnut flooring. In the upstairs bedrooms, we installed rustic pine flooring, while the staircase flooring, we installed is the highest quality white porcelain tile.

There were rooms that we demolished and needed to incorporate new doors, so in one of them, we applied one of the trends in contemporary interior design that includes a sliding door with an industrial finish, which takes up less space than a normal door and allowed us to unify the walls of both spaces.

In the same way, we took advantage of the remodeling to make changes in the window frames, so that they all matched the design in question.

Chastleton’s previous kitchen had a lot of cabinets and countertops in very little space, so we removed the old furniture and demolished the walls to create a larger, more customized, and functional concept.

We made a beautiful kitchen island with a granite top and dark oak cabinets to give it more robustness and unparalleled aesthetic beauty. Using white wood and the same granite, we custom-made the rest of the furniture for the rest of the kitchen, incorporating a cabinet for the oven and a special space for the refrigerator.
